Predicting software effort from use case points: A systematic review

Context: Predicting software project effort from Use Case Points (UCP) method is increasingly used among researchers and practitioners. However, unlike other estimation domains, this area of interest has not been systematically reviewed. Aims: There a need for systemic literature review to provide directions supports research estimation. Specifically, the objective study twofold: 1) classify UCP papers based on four criteria: contribution type, approach, dataset type techniques with UCP; 2) analyze these paper different views: accuracy, favorable context impact combined accuracy UCP.
